Artists engaged in all forms of artistic activities using photography as a tool in artistic endeavors

Passionate artists with a strong determination to grow globally, regardless of nationality

Award

· Support totaling KRW 60 million for the final winner

- a cash prize of 30,000,000 Korean won, dispersed in two years

- a matching amount of 30,000,000 Korean won in Korean air travel vouchers valid for five years, providing crucial support for the recipient’s artistic endeavors

- the opportunity to showcase their new work in the Ilwoo Space in the fall of the year following the award

Submission Guideline

Registration form

- Available to download on the ilwoo website and Submit as a pdf file

· Portfolio

- Up to 10 images per series, up to three series can be submitted

(jpeg format and under 2MB in size)

- If you are submitting video or sound works, you must submit a short clip of approximately 3 minutes and a full length version.

Proposal

- proposal for new work they wish to be working on with the awarded prize

(free form but pdf format within 2 to 5 pages of drawing, text, etc)

Judging Process

1st Round

- Closed evaluation of documents and portfolios submitted online.

- 5 selected artists will be notified individually

2nd Round

- An international judging panel selects one final winner through one-on-one portfolio reviews.

IMPORTANT NOTES

After the deadline, document modification and submission will not be allowed.

In case of disqualification reasons such as plagiarism or forgery, the award may be revoked.
