KIM, Sung woo

KIM Sung woo is a curator and writer. He premises the notion of an exhibition as a kind of questionnaire and contemplates the possibility of discovering creative subjectivity of individuals in the process of responses to the questions and its chains. He curates the exhibition based on an interest in alternative/temporary communities beyond the universal forms of life. KIM, as a chief curator, directed the curatorial project/ exhibition and management of Amado Art Space, not-for-profit alternative space in Seoul (2015-2019). He was also appointed as a curatorial advisor for the Busan Biennale 2020, SongEun Art Space (2019), and has curated the 12th Gwangju Biennale (2018) in the form of curatorial collective. In 2022, he launched an art space ¡®Primary Practice¡¯ focusing on contemporary art with curatorial approaches, in Seoul.

Park, Jeesun

Jeesun Park has worked across art and entertainment sectors for over 16 years, always with a commitment to Korean arts and culture. She is a Director for Schwartzman& and the Art Basel VIP Representative of South Korea. Her work focuses on on connecting Korean artists, collectors, galleries and institutions internationally. Previously, Jeesun worked as Director at Kukje Gallery in Seoul, where she represented multiple international blue-chip artists such as Julian Opie and Jenny Holzer; she also managed the gallery¡¯s exhibitions and events program from 2009-2015. She currently serves as Board Director for Ilwoo Foundation.
