After majoring in philosophy, literature, and art history, Nadine Barth worked as an editor at AMICA from 1998 to 2004. Later, she worked as a director at the first German gallery specializing in fashion photography in Hamburg and Berlin. Afterward, she initiated various exhibitions and cultural projects at Barthouse Agency. She edited books alongside various artists like Hiroshi Sugimoto, Thomas Struth, Joel Sternfeld, Olaf Otto Becker, Robert Adams, Peter Bialobrzeski. She also edited photo books for artists like Thomas Hoeffgen, Carolin Saage, Daniel Josefsohn, Tor Seidel, Anatol Kotte at Hatje Cantz. She is involved in curating exhibitions and currently serves as the editor at Hatje Cantz Publishing.

Sarah Kennel received her Ph.D. in art history from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her postdoctoral studies at the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts at the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. Subsequently, she participated in numerous exhibition projects as a curator at the National Gallery's Department of Photographs, including Andre Kertesz (2005), Irving Penn: The Platinum Prints (2005), and The Art of the American Snapshot (2007). Since September 2015, she has been responsible for curating the extensive photography collection and exhibitions spanning from the 19th century to the present at the Peabody Essex Museum.

Currently working at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art as a researcher, Ryu Ji-yeon majored in art history at Yeungnam University's graduate school and completed the doctoral program in art management at Seoul National University. Since 1996, she has been involved in exhibition planning and research at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. She curated various exhibitions, including (Deoksugung Palace branch of MMCA), (Seoul branch of MMCA), (Deoksugung Palace & Busan Museum of Art), and the 2015 exhibition .

After graduating from Chung-Ang University's Department of Photography, Park Pyeong-jong earned a Ph.D. in aesthetics from Paris X University. He authored aesthetic theory books such as Traces of Aesthetics (2006), which covers the history of 19th-century photography in brief, and Competition of Photography (2006). In 2010, he published his first critique collection, Self-sustainability of Korean Photography. Currently, he teaches aesthetics, photography, and other subjects at the university. He is actively engaged in research, focusing on foundational theories of images and contemporary aesthetics. Emphasizing communication with artists, he expands his critical activities while attempting to engage in popular writing.

She is a cognitive scientist specializing in photography and works at the Yonsei University Institute of Cognitive Science. She pioneered a unique field by integrating visual psychology and photographic theory, exploring the fusion of science and art. Engaging in foundational research analyzing photographic images using psychological research methods, she supervises applied areas such as exhibition planning, publishing, photography education, and artist support. Currently, she holds positions such as Exhibition Advisory Committee Member at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Creative Director at Hanjin Group's Ilwoo Foundation, Creative Director at Imprima Korea Image Copyright, Advisory Committee Member for Exhibition Planning at the ASEAN-Korea Centre, Public Relations Advisor for the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and Director at Ryu Hwa-rang Gallery. She also contributes columns to newspapers such as Chosun Ilbo (Suejin Shin's Reading of Photography), Central Sunday (Opinion Column), The Economist (Technique of Perspective), and Monthly VON.

She has authored books such as Reading Photographs with the Mind (2013), Photographs: Opening the Century of Light (2009), and Photographs: Reading or Viewing (2006). She has also curated over 40 exhibitions domestically and internationally, including On the Line: Beyond Boundaries (2010), Masters of 20th Century Photography (2009), Floating Space (2008), and Mirror Myth (2007).
