Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Photography from Chung-Ang University and a Doctorate in Aesthetics from Paris 10 University.
Currently, he teaches Aesthetics and Contemporary Photography at the university. He is actively engaged in research, focusing on the fundamental theories of images and contemporary aesthetics. He served as a collection evaluation committee member at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (2007-2008). In 2010, he became a judge for 'Today's Photo' on the Naver portal, and in 2012, he planned the Seoul Photo Festival Workshop.

His publications include aesthetic theory books such as "Aesthetics of Traces" (2006, Art Culture) and "Competition of Photographs" (2006, Nunebit). He also wrote about the history of 19th-century photography in "Pioneers of Korean Photography" (2007, Nunebit), and his first critical book was "Self-Sustaining Power of Korean Photography" (2010, Nunebit). He is also known for "Enchanting Photography" (2011, Photo.net), a book on Korean contemporary artists. In addition, he has presented numerous papers.

Park, Jee Sun

Graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography and earned a master's degree from the Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.


Currently, she has been active for over 16 years as a mediator in the domestic and international art and entertainment industry. She served as the Art Basel Korea VIP Representative in 2018 and was the director of the International Gallery from 2009 to 2015. In addition, she has advised and planned various international projects, including G-Dragon's (Big Bang) marketing project in China and P&G's (Pantene) marketing project.


Currently, she serves as a director of the Ilwoo Foundation under the Hanjin Group and is active as an advisory board member of the Korea Craft & Design Foundation.
